Integrated Reading and Language Skills is a reading program that uses themed reading texts to explore the many ways in which we use the English language. This series takes language and writing skills out of isolation and connects them in more meaningful ways to real texts. In addition to reading and responding to a variety of text types and genres that strengthen comprehension skills, students will reinforce language and writing skills as they practice grammar and mechanics related to reading content.
